SAFE AND TIMELY DELIVERY GUARANTEE – HATCHERY DAIRY FARMS

At Hatchery Dairy Farms, we promise the safe arrival of all live poultry shipments. Using USPS Priority Live Shipping, your order will arrive within 1-3 days, ensuring healthy and thriving birds. To uphold this guarantee, we often include a few extra chicks of the same or similar breed and gender with your order. However, in the rare event of losses during transit, we will either replace the poultry (subject to availability) or provide a refund for the per-bird price, excluding shipping fees. Claims can be submitted through your account or via phone.

To ensure the wellbeing of your chicks, you must maintain a brooder temperature of 100-105°F for the first 48 hours while providing a cooler space for chicks to retreat if overheated. We discourage the use of puppy pads as bedding. Refer to our “Care of Chicks on Arrival” guide for detailed instructions.

Note: Hatchery Dairy Farms does not offer guarantees for losses or illnesses after the confirmed safe and timely delivery. Similarly, in-store or pickup orders are not covered once the birds leave the premises.

LIVE POULTRY POLICY

Hatchery Dairy Farms cannot issue refunds or replacements for poultry after they have been safely delivered. Our policies are designed to cover only delays or unsafe shipping conditions caused by USPS, which must be reported immediately. Raising live poultry inherently involves risks, even with proper care. While nearly 98% of our customers report successful results by following our guidelines, unforeseen issues may occasionally arise.

RETURN POLICY FOR PRODUCTS OTHER THAN POULTRY AND HATCHING EGGS

We provide a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on non-poultry items. Prior approval is required for returns, which must include original packaging, all accompanying materials, and be in resalable condition. A 10% restocking fee may apply. Items shipped directly from manufacturers may be subject to different terms. Refunds are processed after the item has been inspected upon return.

Damaged products should be noted at delivery, and any issues upon unboxing should be reported to us immediately. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and C.O.D. returns are not accepted.

For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories, additional shipping fees may apply.

At Hatchery Dairy Farms, we stand behind the quality, breed, and sex of the poultry we deliver. If an error occurs, we will address it promptly with one-time replacements. All chicks are produced under strict flock management and disease control measures, adhering to USDA Animal Health standards as part of the National Poultry Improvement Plan.
